Dr Anita Dey

Dr Anita Dey graduated with a Bachelor of Medical Science in 2006. She then completed a double degree in Medicine and Surgery at ANU in 2010. In 2011/12, Dr Dey was an intern and resident at The Canberra Hospital. Dr Anita has a special interest in women’s health – including pregnancy, endometriosis, contraception, Implanon insertion/removal and sexual health. She is also interested in in management of chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension and asthma; child health; skin and ingrown toenail excisions.
Dr Dey completed extended skills in emergency medicine at The Wollongong Hospital, Shellharbour Hospital and Shoalhaven District Memorial Hospital. In her ‘spare time’ that year, she gained a Diploma of Child Health through the Westmead Children’s Hospital. As a busy GP, Dr Dey doesn’t have much time to enjoy many hobbies or sports. However, she loves to travel and try all different types of food.
Dr Dey got married in April 2021.
