Dr Melissa Weston graduated from her Doctor of Medicine in 2015. She gained experience in a variety of hospital-based specialties, both in the Hunter New England region and at The Canberra Hospital. She then completed her GP training to become a Fellow of the RACGP. Dr Melissa enjoys all aspects of general practice, with growing interests in lifestyle medicine and Women’s Health. She can perform Implanon/IUD insertion and removal, and skin cancer checks. She believes in a holistic approach to patient care, preventative medicine through lifestyle, and empowering patients with education and knowledge to understand and maintain their health and well-being.
