Dr Kim Bland is a dedicated paediatrician who cares for babies, children, and teenagers up to 16 years old. After graduating from Flinders University in Adelaide, she trained in the Southern Sydney Network before moving to Sydney Children’s Hospital and completing her paediatric training at The Canberra Hospital.
Dr Bland has a special interest in paediatric neurology and endocrinology, having gained extensive experience in these areas during her training. She is also passionate about medical education and fostering a positive culture in medicine. In 2018, she obtained Fellowship with the Higher Education Academy and now sits on the Canberra Regional Medical Education Committee. She is actively involved in teaching medical students and junior doctors, with a particular focus on preparing paediatric trainees for their Fellowship exams.
Dr Bland firmly believes that all children should be supported and empowered to reach their full potential and finds great joy in watching them grow and thrive.
Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, swimming, orienteering, and travel. She’s always up for an adventure—though she’s yet to find a way to combine all of these interests into one seamless holiday!
