With a wealth of experience across hospital and general practice settings, Dr Anita Dey is passionate about providing high-quality care to her patients. After completing a Bachelor of Medical Science in 2006, she pursued a double degree in Medicine and Surgery at ANU, graduating in 2010. Her early medical training took her through The Canberra Hospital, and she later extended her skills in emergency medicine at hospitals across Wollongong, Shellharbour, and Shoalhaven. Alongside this, she completed a Diploma of Child Health through Westmead Children’s Hospital.
Dr Dey has a keen interest in women’s health, particularly pregnancy care, contraception, Implanon procedures, endometriosis, and sexual health. She also enjoys managing chronic conditions like diabetes, hypertension, and asthma, and has expertise in child health and minor surgical procedures, including skin and ingrown toenail excisions.
Dr Dey was accredited as a GP supervisor in early 2025.
While her work keeps her busy, Dr Dey loves to travel and is always keen to try new foods from around the world.
Dr Dey is not an employee of The Surgery at Jerra. She has a Service Agreement with the practice, allowing her to set her own schedule and fees, with TSAJ managing fee collection on her behalf.
